2015 marks the 70th anniversary for UNESCO and CFUW clubs across Canada have a fantastic opportunity to contribute to this celebration and partnership through the 2015 ‘Call to Action” from the June AGM of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO!
Culture is a set of ideas, beliefs, and practices that characterize our everyday lives and are expressed in both tangible and intangible ways.
CFUW has a long history of building bridges and bringing together women and communities to support education and social justice. Now we have an opportunity to share our amazing work as part of another national partnership. CCUNESCO will track activities relating to the Anniversary Call to Action on supporting diversity and culture. These activities will be shared with the CCUNESCO over the next year and achievements and highlights will be presented at the next CCUNESCO AGM. READ MORE.
Please review the documents and submit your activities directly to CCUNESCO. If you have any questions you can contact Brenda Canitz, CFUW CCUNESCO representative at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We hope you are able to contribute to this national partnership and continue to support culture and diversity in your community!
